In 2026, the three regions each have their own logic for supporting charging infrastructure.<\/p>\n

For individuals, companies and co-ownerships, the benefit varies widely: in amount, conditions, cumulation rules and the deadline for applying. Below is the overview as we apply it in our files today.<\/p>\n

Flanders<\/h2>\n

Flanders provides targeted support for publicly accessible charging infrastructure. For individuals, there is no longer a tax reduction for a home charger. For companies, the tax route remains the main route. Current amounts and conditions: energiesparen.be and vlaanderen.be.<\/p>\n

For co-ownerships, there is specific support for collective charging infrastructure, linked to conditions on shared or public use. Check the current conditions with your grid operator, or let us request them.<\/p>\n

The most common mistake in files: applying only after installation, while the scheme requires approval before work starts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Brussels<\/h2>\n

Through Brussels Environment, Brussels offers grants for charging infrastructure in residential and collective buildings, with a higher ceiling for co-ownerships. Amounts depend on the building type and the number of charging points. Current conditions: environment.brussels.<\/p>\n

In Brussels practice, files in which the charging infrastructure is part of a broader renovation score considerably better than stand-alone applications. Expect conditions on the building\u2019s energy performance or on a charging policy within the co-ownership.<\/p>\n

Wallonia<\/h2>\n

Wallonia supports charging infrastructure through the primes \u00e9nergie, with conditions on technical features such as smart charging and OCPP compliance. For individuals, the maximum amount per household is lower than in Brussels, but so is the access threshold. Current amounts and conditions: energie.wallonie.be.<\/p>\n

For companies, Wallonia combines the primes \u00e9nergie with additional sector support for those investing in public or semi-public charging infrastructure. Cumulation with the tax deduction is possible, provided the grant is deducted when calculating the deductible amount.<\/p>\n
